Modern Music Camp August 23, 2019

This camp is designed to embrace a lot of today’s current hits and musical styles in hopes of creating a means of helping newer musicians explore a variety of genres, as well as challenge experienced players to broaden their horizons. Because of this approach, all levels of experience are encouraged to join us for the week! Songs will be chosen based on campers diverse interests and account for variations in their ability levels, but our incredibly talented and experienced instructors are fully equipped to get everyone participating AND having a blast no matter how new they may be to the stage. With this camp, like many of our others, we’re committed to helping kids experience what playing in a band is really like, so portions of the latter days are dedicated to team building, poster design, album art, and the always daunting task of coming up with a band name. Campers should bring their own snacks and lunches during the week, with the exception of Thursday when we will order pizza for all the kids. Camp will conclude on Friday afternoon with a live performance of 5-10 songs.
